As for me I am blessed to have had the opportunity to see Miles Davis perform around 100 times from Coast to Coast. Yes thats right! From Bostons Jazz Workshop to the Hollywood Bowl in LA, I had the honor of seeing him and his bands. In the 70's before his semi retirement when he would come to Boston and play for 5 nites at the Palls Mall Jazz Workshop I would attend every night and stay for all sets. His first concert after his retirement was at a nightclub called "Kix" in Boston's Kenmore Square. I was at those sets as well as the Avery Fisher Hall Concert that took place the following month in New York that are chronicled in the "We Want Miles" album.

Pauls Mall Jazz Workshop and Kix are long gone but the music of Miles Davis lives on forever. Please share your personal stories.
