- Hello Folks, My name is Alex, I'am the leader for the jazz group EUROPA. We have 1 CD titled "ONE", out and our second CD titled "ELEMENTS" on the EDP record label. With EUROPA we've
had the pleasure of either opening up for, or performing with the likes of Pieces of a Dream, Chris Botti, Brian Colberson, Strunz & Farah, Peter White, Stacy Knights, and many others. I also play jazz, latin, and tejano with 2 time Grammy contender Joe Posada. EUROPA has toured, and performed throughout the United States, and Europe.
I perform on keyboards, write, produce, and publish music. My wife Annie, and I own EDP Records and EURO DISC PRODUCTIONS. We have 7 members including myself in EUROPA. They are as follows:
James Pickens on Bass & Back-up vocals, Anselmo Leal on Lead Alto and Soprano sax's and percussion, Michael Alexander on Drums and back-up vocals, AJ Ambrozaitis on 2nd (Tenor) sax, keyboards, and back-up vocals, Paul Pollini on guitar, and back-up vocals, Alvin Gertman on Lead vocals, and at times the extra vocal talents of Kim Pollini, and RG Dean on lead vocals.
