Raleigh, North Carolina, October 18, 2007— Papa Bass has been a musician for more than thirty years enchanting audiences with the smooth sensual sound of jazz. A world traveler and accomplished musician, Papa Bass moved to North Carolina in 1987 and likes to compose music that “makes people feel good.” He describes jazz as “music for the soul, it encompassing soul , blue grass, country western, and a variety of other musical genres.”
A father of four Papa Bass first played the piano, the saxophone and finally nestled into playing the electric bass guitar the instrument of choice for his dynamic compositions. Papa Bass insist that if you first learn to play the piano you can play any instrument and has at some point in his life played over twenty different musical instruments.
This August Papa Bass released One For You Two For Me a sultry, sophisticated CD sure to please jazz enthusiast everywhere. Anyone looking for soulful, smooth, jazzy compositions that lead you down a path filled with twist and turns should take a listen to a seasoned musician who has for more three decades dedicated his life to an artistic form that soothes the savage beast and captivates the untamed spirit.

Thanks for becoming a friend, your music is there my brother. I know you have done this for a long time. And if you can pass on any words of wisdom, my ears are open. I've only been at this craft for about ten years, but my passion is strong and my work ethic is over the top. Right now I'm doing all my own music by myself mainly because I can't find the right group of people to work with (same passion). I play my own instruments, do my own drum sounds with the MPC2500 and use keyboards and plugins for wind instruments. I would love to write some vocals to your music, it's inspirational. Peace and Love my brother, Ron B.
Papa Bass, thank you for inviting me to join you and your beautiful music, pleasure is all mine. I'm going to send you a message soon.
Cheers
