- About Me:
- I have many favorite musicians and I especially enjoy listening to smooth jazz guitar. Some of my favorites are Marc Antoine, Peter White,Doc Powell, George Benson, Santana, Jeff Golub, Norman Brown, Jonathan Butler, Larry Carlton and Lee Ritenour. I also enjoy sax and trumpet and enjoy listening to Grover Washington Jr., Boney James, Paul Taylor, Richard Elliot, Candi Dulfur, Mindi Abair, Kirk Whalum , and Rick Braun.
I took lessons in the 80's for classical guitar and that required a lot of time and practice. In 2006 I started lessons again only this time with smooth Jazz in mind instead of classical and I haven't gotten as far as I'd like to but will continue to pursue my dreams.
There's a quote that says: "Many of lifes failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up"
I think this applies to anything we aspire in life. We may not achieve it right away but I think we should never give up.....
