Hey Vid thanks for the comps on Chillin.

Checked out you tracks. Just the way I like it. Smooth and accessable. Kudos to you.

Look me up when you visit the west in the fall. Play on bro.

peace, Denis

This is quite strange indeed, I send you a reply but that reply could not reach you. I added a comment but also could not reach you as well. Vid, my musical story is quite long and very painful to say to anyone. My story carry so much I can not bear at all even if I try. Maybe after so many moons and years someone out there will be abel to tell my story to the rest of the world. I did create all the musical parts all by myself, no samples or looped rhythem parts. I do not recieve any good response from the so called super stars musicians, and I fail to understand why. I am humbled by your feedback and I pray that all indie musos may continue to create music even if they do not make a fortune out it. KEEP CREATING MUSIC CAUSE THERE IS NO REWARDING AND A FULFILLING JOB COMPARED TO THAT OF CREATORS.

About Me:
Hi. I write, sequence, and perform a variety of music, in a variety of styles, but lean strongly toward R&B, and Smooth Jazz. I am untethering from my long time base in Michigan, and embarking on a "play about", not knowing where I'll land, traveling unencumbered by house or belongings, doing "drive-by, gorilla gigging", until I find a new nest. I use Triton keys to sequence and the Yamaha S90 to play the live parts (piano mostly). I like mellow, heart-felt music with a pulse.
Cool throbbing. A neat beat, round and light.
I like the vibe of Om. Aum. I like the sound of God.
I like source energy.
Where do you find your music?
I find it, by going within. By being still. By first quieting my mind. That is where the "I AM THAT I AM", can be revealed.
When inspiration bubbles into awareness, I sit at the keyboard and begin.

The diminishing scene?

It is my intention to explore the music scenes in many of our cities this spring and settle into a new groove and life somewhere. In discussions with many of you about your experiences and perspectives on venues, support, art, and general vibe around your towns, I hear lots of concerns about a diminishing jazz scene and gig opportunities across the board. Some are looking for ways to revitalize, or otherwise promote, jazzy haps at every turn. Lots of the commentary is forelorn, pessimistic, and… Continue
